Aegean Documentary Lab – 2013

The Aegean Film Festival in Patmos, SugarHigh Films and COSMOTE TV organised a groundbreaking workshop with the target to produce the feature documentary: “Life in the Borderlands”
Location : Athens & Patmos
Duration: 20 days Preproduction -7 days Filming-7 days Post
Filmmakers: 18 Directors,Cinematographers, editors and Sound recordists into 6 teams of 3 people each
Format: 6-9 short film portrait – 10′ duration each
Cast: From the three different social groups of the island – residents, monks and artists, and international personalities
Aim: The search and depiction of the unique personal freedom of the people that meet in this land of borders – geographical, spiritual and social.
Result: 1 feature Documentary 60′ with distribution on TV, Internet and Cinema.
